Theme: See Possibilities!
“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast well seen: For I will hasten my word to perform it”. Jeremiah 1:11-12.
What you see is what you get! When a man sees nothing in his life than impossibilities and failures; such is what he will gets. People who achieve success in life have always seen themselves achieving their desires.
David’s perspective and understanding of situation at the war front when Goliath was threatening the army of Israel and challenging them for battle was different from others. While others saw a giant who was highly experienced in war and difficult to conquer or beat in battle, David saw a mortal man defying Almighty God; he saw a man who is conquerable with the help of God and who has already been defeated (I Sam. 17:1ff). David declared in vs. 46: “This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head”. What David saw and his declaration, eventually became the reality.
Dear Brothers/Sisters, begin to see possibilities, even in the midst of hopelessness and God will step in to perform His Word. Remember what you see is what you get. See success and surely it will come your way.
