Many at time, we miss Gods miracle because of our failure to see the possibility of getting out of our misfortunes and predicaments troubles, problem, we quickly lose confidence, we easily give up, lose faith, become dejected, At times some go into depression.
The story in our focal text 2 Kings 4:8-37 is about the Shunemites woman whose son was raised by Prophet Elisha. The woman had been barren for many years before her hospitable character endear him to Prophet Elisha who prayed for her and God opened her womb. She gave birth to a son who on one afternoon cried my ‘head my head’ and died. The woman then decided to look for the Prophet; this intention was discouraged by her husband on the ground that it was a wrong time for her to do so. The Prophet had never been around at such time. She took the effort, even without her husband accompanying her; she went to search for the Prophet. She believed in the possibility of meeting with the Prophet. Fortunately for her, she met the Prophet. The Prophet prayed for the child and restored him back to life.
Beloved, don’t give up, never resign to fate; trust God for miracle. Continue to move on. If you fall 10 times make sure you rise again 10 times. Continue trying, continue struggling, quitter don’t win and winners don’t quit. Trust God, cast doubts aside, no matter how unreasonable they appear to be; be courageous and be optimistic. Always remember Matthew 19:26. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
