Text: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men- “Proverbs 22:29.

God has called you to be the head and not the tail in life. He has endowed you with all you need to excel in your business or chosen carrier. If you are not excelling, it is probably you are in a wrong job or you have not been diligent enough, for instance if you are an artisan or a business man/woman and you cannot hold your customers for long, it means what you are producing or selling is below standard. If you are an employee and you are the first person to be laid off when your establishment faces challenges, it is a pointer that your contributions are very marginal and insignificant.

Beloved, you need to be diligent. This is achieved by training and retraining yourselves on your job. Stop arguing with your customers; rather develop yourself in areas of their complaints. Strive to be the best in all you do, and commit yourself to daily improvement. What you knew yesterday may not be enough to carry you today.

You are to be envied and not be pitied in life. Strive to put yourself in envious position.
