“Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast well seen: For I will hasten my word to perform it” Jeremiah 1:11-12.
Bible Reading:-1 Sam. 17:1-end.
What you see is what you get! When a man sees nothing in his life than impossibilities and failures; such is what he will get. People who achieve success in life have always seen themselves achieving their desires. Our perception of ourselves, issues, situations and people has a big influence on our attainment of success.
David’s perspective and understanding of situation at the war front when Goliath was threatening the army of Israel and challenging them for battle was different from others. While others saw a giant who was highly experienced in war and difficult to conquer or beat in battle, David saw a mortal man defying Almighty God; he saw a man who is conquerable and who with the help of God has already been defeated. David declared in vs. 46: “This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head”. With what David saw and his declaration, he had him the victory.
Dear Brothers/Sisters, work on your perception of things, issues and people. Begin to see possibilities, even in the midst of hopelessness and God will step in to perform His word. Remember what you see is what you get. See no problem as insurmountable. See no person bigger than your God. See no case as hopeless. Always see success and surely it will come your way.
You are blessed and highly favoured.
