Topic: Let it Go!
Text: “Remember ye not the former things neither consider the things of Old”-Isaiah 43:18
Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:1-18
It is true that it is not easy to simply let go, it is easier said than done. Notwithstanding, we just have to learn to let go of the things that didn’t work, of disappointments and failures. Keeping these in our hearts will continue to make us moody and as well drag us down. The worse is that dwelling on failures, disappointments and mistakes make us depressed and as well waste our valuable time which could have been used for prayers, planning, fighting and winning.
Beloved, God is not always happy to see us, His children being depressed rather He wants us to live our lives joyfully. Therefore, stop the if-ing syndrome; if I had not said that, if I had not married him/her, if had not taken that job, if I had been more careful, etc. Remember that what is done is done, you can’t change that but you can change what will happen next. Be optimistic and forget the past. Enter 2020 as a happy person and be optimistic for a better year.
