Topic: Be there for others

Text: “You are the salt of the earth….but if the salt has lost its  flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing” Matthew 5:13.

Scripture Readings: 1 Peter 4:1-11.

Has anyone said he has not given up, just because of you, your encouragements, supports, and assistance? If your answer is no, it means you have not been living as expected of you by Christ.

Jesus described Christians as salt of the world; this signifies that Christians are to posses the characteristics of Salt. Salt heals, Sweetens and prevents decay. As a Christian, you are to help others, prevent their lives from decay and sweeten them up.

Beloved, God has blessed us, so that we can bless others, He comforted us so that we can comfort others; He saved us, so others could be saved. As Christmas is fast approaching and the year is winding off, let us decide to be the Salt of the world by blessing others in our own little way. The season is about giving; God gave us His only begotten Son, we are to take a cue from this act of God and give generously to others.
