Text: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of  everyone who believes; first for the Jews, then for the Gentiles”. Rom. 1:16

Scripture Readings: Romans 1:1-end & Matthew 5:1-end.

One of the most important responsibilities for every Christian is sharing the Good news, the message of salvation. The Good news is for everyone, it possesses life changing power which is needed by everyone to live a meaningful life. This is the message today’s Confirmation service is passing across to us, especially the Confirmation candidates. Your sins had been forgiven; you are a new creature in Christ (II Corinthian 5:17). This new life is to be lived for everyone to see, coupled with the responsibility of not being ashamed to preach Christ to others.

Beloved, you are not to be ashamed to share the life-changing message of salvation and deliverance. Everyone can benefit from it; you know not who your new pattern of life and message can change for better. Share your testimony, how you became born-again, how Confirmation lessons  impacted your life and also how God faithfully dealt with you. These will draw others to the knowledge of Christ and make them children of the kingdom.

You are blessed and highly favoured!
