Text: For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will rise upon you and his glory will appear upon you” Isaiah 60:2

Bible Reading: Isaiah 60:1-end

The rate of evil occurrences which happens on daily basis points us to the obvious fact that we are living in a world full of evil and darkness; a world where the Devil and his agents  are going about with  intentions of stealing, killing and destroying.

Howbeit, whatever the amount of evil and the level of darkness in our world,                                      children of God should not be afraid for we have a covenant of exemption from our Father; a covenant of protection from the terrors and afflictions that fly around.

Psalm 91:5-9 says: “thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shall thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Even the most high thy habitation”.

Beloved, do not concentrate much of your attention on the evil you  see around or the news of it, so you don’t live in fear but concentrate on God who is more powerful that the Devil and has power to protect you from all evil and harm.
