“And the assess of Kish Saul’s father were lost. And Kish said to his son, take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go and seek the assess….. Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying tomorrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin and thou shall anoint him to be captain over my people Israel…(1Sam. 9:3,15-16).

Bible Reading:-Samuel 9. &Jeremiah 29

Sometimes many of us fail to see the hands of God and where He is leading us in set-backs and unpleasant circumstances which we face in life. We don’t use to see such circumstances and self-backs as stepping stones to our elevation. Saul did not fulfil his destiny until his father’s donkey got lost and went on the mission of finding them with one of his father’s servant. The mission after some time became fruitless after they had travelled up and down, all around without finding them. Saul became discouraged and was about to give-up when the servant suggested they see a seer.

God, who knows where He was taking him to, had placed with him someone who by his advice, he will go into his destiny and greatness.

Beloved, do not be discouraged when you face set-backs and unpleasant situations. They may simply be stepping stones to your greatness. God’s plan is bigger than you, He also have different means and ways to achieve it. I pray that God will turn your frustrations to elevation and your losses to unexpected promotion in Jesus Names
